He was an operating executive at General Electric, General Dynamics, Diasonics, and Dunn Instruments.
Rowland is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and M.I.T. Sloan School of Management. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers, the American College of Sports Medicine, and the National Eagle Scout Association.
